Portraits from an eighteenth-century artistic circle. Comparing painted and sculpted portraits of Louis François Roubiliac and David Garrick, two of eighteenth century London’s leading lights, this exhibition offers a unique opportunity to scrutinise the complex relationship between artist and sitter and between two and three dimensional representation.
