Louisa Fairclough : I wish I could be a stone
19 Sep-26 Oct 2014

I wish I could be a stone is Louisa Fairclough's second solo exhibition at Danielle Arnaud. It will bring together photographs, 16mm film-sculpture and sound installation to draw the viewer into the physical centre of the artist's reflexion while surrounded by shifting sonorities. Developed out of research and collaboration with composer Richard Glover, the works take as their starting point the sketchbooks of the artist’s deceased sister. They offer the viewer a contemplative space for grief, loss and possible change.
