JU YOUNG KIM (b. 1991, Seoul, KR) currently lives and works in Munich (DE). She received her BA from the Korea National University of Arts in Seoul and graduated from the Academy of Fine Arts, Munich. Selected solo and duo exhibitions include: ‘Incognito Apartment’, Kunsthalle Mannheim Museum, DE (2025); ‘AEROPLASTICS’, max goelitz, in Munich, DE (2024); ‘Drifting while Holding’ (with Bo-Kyung Jeong), Korea Culture Promotion Inc. Culture land, Seoul, KR (2023). Her work was included in group exhibitions internationally at St. Matthäus Kirche am Kulturforum, Berlin, DE; Singapore Art Museum; P21, Seoul, KR; MOLT Berlin, DE and Print gallery, Tokyo, amongst others. Her work has been collected by Kunsthalle Recklinghausen, The J. Patrick Collins’ Collection and Alexander Tutsek Stiftung.
