Shahin Entezami

Shahin Entezami, also known by his stage name ‘Tegh’, is a musician, sound artist and practitioner based in Tehran, Iran. His music style mostly takes root in Noise, Drone and Glitch together with Experimental elements. In his work, Tegh brings new aural experiences to life by combining different audio elements to create complex soundscapes. These experiences usually manifest his personal perceptions of facing new stories, geographies and encounters. In recent years, he has become involved in sound design and composition for theatre, film and design projects as well as immersive and 3d sound for Virtual Reality experiences. These more complex collaborations include projects such as Artirial and Temp-Illusion.

Entezami’s works have been exhibited in international festivals and venues including CTM Festival (Berlin, GE), ALICE Venue (Copenhagen, DE), IDFA Documentary Festival (Amsterdam, NL), Port25 Venue (Mannheim, GE), Berghain Club (Berlin, GE), GEM Festival (Anaklia, GE),  SET Experimental Art Events (Tehran, IR), SETXCTM Festival (Tehran, IR), TADAEX Festival (Tehran, IR), Tehran Contemporary Sounds Festival (Berlin, GE), Paraffin Festival (Tehran, IR), Tankstation Venue (Enschede, NL), VO Curations (London, UK), Walmer Yard (London, UK).

Tegh has released albums and singles on labels including Opal Tapes (UK), Zabte Sote (IR), Hibernate Recordings (UK), Dronarivm (RU), Inner Ocean Records (CA), Midira Records (GE), Futuresequence (US), Flaming Pines (UK), Bitrot Recordings (IR) and more.
