DUVAL TIMOTHY

A solo exhibition of new work by London based artist Duval Timothy. The exhibition will house new video, sculpture and paintings.
The title ‘ARE NA FO’ is taken from ‘OF AN ERA’ a phrase used to describe the work of artist Blinky Palermo indicating a step forward from unresolved modernist sensibilities that remain strong influences in the artist's work.

SITE SPECIFIC WORKS

With Natasha Rosling's new work 'Ruffle', 2010 as a starting point she will explore the use of craft-like processs in contemporary art in the Arthouse gallery.
Mark Tichner will be using the outside of the Arthouse for a banner project.
Both artists are exhibiting at Lewisham Arthouse as part of Deptford X visual arts festival.
