Faced with increasingly urgent social and environmental pressures, creativity can be a powerful agent for innovation and transformation. Across a wide range of design disciplines, this exhibition showcases graduate projects from Central Saint Martins, offering disruptive and compelling propositions for more sustainable and equitable futures. A public engagement programme, including a series of sustainable incubation workshops, will accompany the exhibition. This exhibition is an initiative of Maison/0, the sustainable innovation programme created in 2017 at Central Saint Martins in partnership with the luxury group LVMH.

COUNTER ACTS

Counter Acts will mark the 35th year of the Turner Prize, bringing together previous winners and nominees who studied or taught at University of the Arts London’s constituent colleges, as well as emerging artists. The exhibition will explore the function of art practice as a counter-action to dominant social, political and aesthetic structures. With work spanning four decades, the exhibition seeks to reveal how artists use a variety of methods and approaches to disrupt historical narratives.
